What have you learned, and what if any changes are you going to make because of the information you've received?We all have been touched by this disease in one way or another. We owe it to ourselves and our children to take care of ourselves and follow the guidelines. I remember a few years ago they advocated a buddy system. Who have you prompted this year? If she doesn't inspire you, nothing will. Take a minute to watch this video about a woman I'm proud to call my cousin, Andrea Ivory on CNN. She was nominated as a CNN Hero in 2009. She started an organization to provide free mammograms to women in south Florida by way of a mobile mammography van. When she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she realized how fortunate she was that she had insurance and support and wanted to offer those same opportunities to every woman. She says, "When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I never asked why me, instead I asked what for?" She is definitely an inspiration to me. I hope you are inspired at the very least to take care of your heath if you've been taking it for granted... Better still grab a woman you care about and inspire her too! Be blessed!
