May God's presence bring you peace...

The cure for anxiousness... God's presence. CeCe Winans did a CD a few years ago called Throne Room. The first several songs were designed to usher you into God's presence. It's not the kind of music I like to listen to as I'm driving down the road in my van. It's really easy to get emotional and tear up.... not really a good thing when you're driving....

I bought the set with this saying from smARTworks, because I often write that message on the inside of my cards. Sometimes I send a card to someone when whey are going thru a seemingly insurmountable problem, or a death in the family, miscarriage... times when there are no words to say. I wish them peace in God's presence.

So about the card:
If I remember correctly, this is an Anna Griffin image. I colored it when I worked at Michaels in Warner Robins years ago. (It was at least 4 1/2 years ago). I've been thru my already colored images and making decisions and I have a lot more where this came from so. (I think I color too much). I have to thin out my 'collections' to a more manageable amount so I'm giving a lot of them away....

Here is a close up. I didn't do any blending at all. I stamped the image in light gray and then traced around the image with the color pencils (coloring book style) totally covering up the ink.

Do some card making or card sending this weekend. Bless somebody and be blessed! Jacki ;)

F is for ... Thank You Very Much Spring Bouquet

F is really for the frame image on this card. I'm still working on my abc challenge to use stuff in my room that I haven't used in a long time.

This is the stamp I mentioned a few days ago. It was a gift from Isabelle. I don't know what I did to deserve such generosity... but that's what a gift is isn't it. If I deserved it, it would have been earned. Isabelle, I loved coloring this and thanks sooooo much for sending it to me.
This card is 5 x 7. The original plan wasn't to cut out the main image. I goofed up the background as I colored it so I salvaged it by removing the background and creating a new one. I also decided to use a frame stamp that I haven't used in a long time if ever. The main image is by North Woods. Isabelle sells it at her website, The Stampbuzz. The frame is a very large Posh Impressions stamp. I think I bought this with scrapbooking in mind.
...just some more detailed pictures.
Still waiting to see real live tulips....

Heartfelt

Another card made last week. I'm determined to keep cleaning and using stuff I already have. This is an image I stamped at Michaels when I worked there 3 years ago. I think it is an Anna Griffin stamp. The sentiment if SU. The ink is a cranberry color. I probably used something in the classroom at Michaels, although I would have no idea at this point. The paper is Basic Grey. Now looking at the picture, I think I am going to go back and add glitter to the bee. The cranberry corner thing was made with a square punch, a circle punch on one corner and a ticket punch on the other corner.
