F is for ... Thank You Very Much Spring Bouquet

F is really for the frame image on this card. I'm still working on my abc challenge to use stuff in my room that I haven't used in a long time.

This is the stamp I mentioned a few days ago. It was a gift from Isabelle. I don't know what I did to deserve such generosity... but that's what a gift is isn't it. If I deserved it, it would have been earned. Isabelle, I loved coloring this and thanks sooooo much for sending it to me.
This card is 5 x 7. The original plan wasn't to cut out the main image. I goofed up the background as I colored it so I salvaged it by removing the background and creating a new one. I also decided to use a frame stamp that I haven't used in a long time if ever. The main image is by North Woods. Isabelle sells it at her website, The Stampbuzz. The frame is a very large Posh Impressions stamp. I think I bought this with scrapbooking in mind.
...just some more detailed pictures.
Still waiting to see real live tulips....

How would you answer this question?

Why do you need so much stuff?

I didn't have an answer either when my husband looked at me in all seriousness and asked me, "Why do you need so much stuff?" I'm still speechless. I don't know why, I just know that I do! We were talking family finances ( bad move) and I mentioned how much I spent at that convention a few weeks ago. I really didn't do too bad, I was only there two hours and made a couple of .. ahem...three or four purchases. There I go justifying and making excuses. lol.

Anyway, I was just thinking that he was a nice man for driving the college girl back on Sunday and he had to go and ask me something like that ??
Cleaning has it's benefits other than the obvious. I found this while cleaning out my file cabinet. I did this back in 2001. I call this Watercolor Stamping. I don't know why it has to have a name in the first place, but it does. I used water color paper and regular water color paint. The trees (AAArubberstamps.com) are stamped with water color paint. I apply the paint directly to the stamp with a small paint brush. I stamped and embossed the mountain tops( Posh Impressions) with pearl embossing powder. I painted the rest in with my little old paint brush. I added shimmer to the sunset with Pearl Ex water colors pallet.

I'm having a lot of fun right now, believe it or not . I'm cleaning and purging with a vengeance. As you know it always looks worse before it gets better. Here's what my room looks like now. I'm showing you this so that when I get it really nice and clean, you'll be impressed. (smile)

If you don't hear from me in a couple of days, send for me.....

NIP Purple Suede CraftMates tote. These awesome bags and organizers sell for 40.00 and up. I only took it out of the plastic to take the picture. I am asking $30 which includes shipping. The shipping alone was $9 before the postal rate increase. It is too large for a flat rate box. It includes 6 interlocking caddies. Each caddy has 14 compartments that individually lock, preventing migration. I personally use CraftMates to store brads, beads, eyelets, buttons and other small embellishments. I found this product after travelling by plane with my beads in my suitcase. The container I used at the time had several sections, but only one lid. When I arrived at my destination, the beads were all mixed up. I started with one case for my beads and now I have several for all the small items I have.

For more options I have another case for sale whose individual compartments are larger.

The following pictures are of my storage. Yours will come empty and ready for your stuff!
