I haven't blogged in so long, I just thought I'd check too see if anyone was still here.  I haven't blogged and I haven't been making many cards. Yes, my life is crazy right now. I'll tell you a little about it in another post. First let me tell you about this card. This image was purchased from Digital Pencil Too -

I made this card in celebration of a major accomplishment made by my daughter. She graduated from GA State in May. 

They were HOT and too serious. "Somebody" had to lighten the mood. (mission accomplished)

Graduation Memory Books

Here is another thing that has kept me busy over the last week. The Graduation Memory book. I made one of these books for my graduate and during her party/open house one of her friends asked me to make her one too. These books were used during the Graduation Open house, or can be used before and after. There is room for a photo and contact information as well as a space for a special memory and well wishes. One person gets to fill out the two facing pages. I did all this on the computer using images from the internet and photo editing software. Although I bought a Bind it All with this book in mind, I haven't had a chance to play with it. I did both books with the Rollabind Punch. I intend to re-bind my daughter's with the Bind it All once we get settled.

Graduation Cards

Lots going on here as we wind down to our last days in Michigan. And on top of that we are still dealing with graduation and end of school year stuff . My daughter has a few Graduation Open houses to go to in the next few days. I made several cards for her and several for us to send a little something to the graduates we know. I had to go to my default design for making multiples.

Many Graduation Thanks

Here are a couple of the thank you cards I made these for my daughter. She needed at least 20, so I had to do something that was easy to duplicate. I actually enjoyed making these because I was working with her favorite color (PURPLE). By the way I don't know if you noticed but it is my favorite too! smile

I thought I would never use all this purple paper. I found it on a clearance isle at Michaels, lonely and abandoned, so I just had to bring it home to my purple paper collection. I must admit that right now I am actually feeling relieved that I found a use for it. My new philosophy about paper is that it makes me happier to use it than to have it stored in my collection-- provided I keep a good picture of the project.

( What a concept?? That I should actually use the paper I buy!! )
