Here's what I think about GRACE and why I'm thankful for it...
- Grace is often defined as unmerited favor.
- Grace is getting something good, when you really deserve something bad.
- The ability to give grace is supernatural.
Remember when you were a kid and you stomped up the stairs screaming, "that's not fair!" ( oh wait, that was me. LOL) and your mom uttered some very wise words that went something like... "We don't always get what's fair in life." I'm sure I received a spanking from my mom along with this tidbit of wisdom. LOL But that was a different time... way back in the olden days. :)
Well, life still isn't fair...still. Some days I wake up thinking, "Why ME??? and then other days I wake up crying "WHY me?" I'm so glad it isn't fair. I'm thankful that they Lord blesses me in spite of me. Every time I look into the eyes of one of my offspring I realize how unfair life is. I'm so blessed!
Ephesians 5:8 ~ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
Yes, I'm thankful for Grace today, --which by the way is what I named my cell phone, my constant companion therefore requiring a name-- there's a long story to that which I'll save for another day...
