Here is my M is for Markers challenge card that I mentioned a little while ago. What happened to H is for horses??? It's coming. I'm an artist, I go with the flow. This one told me to finish it first. What can I say?
Edited to add: If you are playing along, link your card to the appropriate post if you have a blog or gallery. If you don't, you can send me a jpg file and I'll add it to this post.
I broke the first rule of coloring with these images. I colored them randomly and then tried to find paper to match. I was determined to use both T shirts on the same card and I didn't have one paper to match both. I found one paper to match each one. It totally doesn't match, but sometimes that is actually liberating, don't you think? LOL! I made that sound believable didn't I? I almost fell for it myself. I stressed over finding paper to match for two days before I let it go....
Stamps: From the Heart Greetings (Hero Arts), Flowers for Daisy and Little Tee's(Gina K Designs) See tutorial for reverse masking
paper: purple polka dot (Printworks, I think), Cupcake(Basic Grey)
On a personal note:
On my recent trip to Kalamazoo, I managed to leave my camera in the car almost the entire weekend. (What a dunce!) Cindy was my gracious hostess along with her fabulous family, but I didn't get one single picture of any of them. I saw Donna at Western, and she took us to lunch... again, no pictures. I did take pictures of my daughter and her roommate and their apartment just before I left town, but I promised( under duress) not to show those photos. I did manage to remember my camera when I had lunch in downtown Kalamazoo with Jayne and Ann, or as pictured in this photo, Ann and Jayne.(Evidently Ann didn't get the purple memo??) Jayne was my local Stampin Up Demo. If you are in Michigan anywhere near Kalamazoo, Jayne is the bestest Stampin Up lady in the state. Back to lunch... we went to my favorite restaurant in Kalamazoo at my request, Food Dance Cafe. Here we are in the lobby area. I enjoyed chatting and catching up with my stamping buddies. Ann and I met as a result of Gingerwood. I talked about our meeting a couple of times on my blogs so I won't go thru that story again, but here is a link if you are interested in reading about it. Story about my stamping buddies.
Happy Labor Day! Are you resting???

Oh! and when I remember I try to post my "Anybody Wanna Pray with Me" post on the first of the month... which is today. But I'm going to wait until Wednesday after I go back to the dermatologist. So if you have any requests to submit, do so today or tomorrow. Also if you want to update from previous months, please email me.
