Life is a Sweet Bouquet

The embossing looks bad in the picture, but its not as noticible in real life. The same goes for the smudge I made on it last night when I moved it from my office.

This card was fun to make, but I think I'm going to do it again and try to make it perfect next time. I'll probably change up the sentiments too. It's simple but effective, I think.

This is how I made it...
I stamped the flower several times on the confetti card stock near an edge. Color, blend and cut out before trimming to fit the card front.
The card was made of the green and brown pieces of card stock (overlapped)and lined with the confetti.

Finished Card Size: 4.25 x 5.5
Stamps:
Flower Garden(Papertreyink), Life is a Sweet (Hero Arts), Swirl (Stampin Up)
Ink: Brilliance Coffee Bean (Tsukeneko), Whisper White Craft and Certainly Celery (Stampin Up),
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi (SU) Confetti
Other: White Embossing Powder, Prismacolor Pencils, Dimensional Glue, Circle punch, smudge (Butterscotch Krimpets from TastyKake :))

On a Personal Note:
Do you want to know just how blessed my husband is to have me? I traded dentist appointments with him when he scheduled a meeting at work at the time of his original appointment. What that means is I had to go to the dentist at 7:30 AM!!!!! ---in the morning!!! The dental hygentist is nice and all and so is my new dentist, but that's too early to have to sit still staring into a bright light and having someone shoot missle powered water into your mouth to clean your teeth.
What do you think I deserve for doing that so that he could have my nice and sane 9:00 AM appointment. Actually, I think I'm going to get what I deserve right now... a nap (LOL). See you later, and have a blessed day! Choosing joy! Jacki

A fabulous card. Love that you cut the flowers out. Hope you got that nap.

What a unique card, Jacki! The layout is cool, and the colors are really great together!

Your husband needs to buy you a box of chocolates for going in that early. Wow, that is true love!

What a beautiful card, Jacki! Really like your layout and color choices, as well as that sentiment. Hope you get a n-a-p one of these days. I'm afraid it might not be until September, though!

Beautiful card. It sure looks bigger than the size quoted. Gorgeous! That would be too early for me to go to the dentist. Yes, he's lucky!
