This is the first card I've made in a week!
This particular one has been sitting on my desk unfinished for longer than that, but I decided to mess with it this morning. Taking the picture was a different story. The weather made it impossible today, so I figured I would take the picture tomorrow morning until I realized that my camera isn't going to be here tomorrow. All that to say, I'm sorry for the dark picture....
The dots were made with Dotta Riffic markers. I got them as a gift with purchase months ago and this is the first time I tried them. Hello Friend come from a partial stamp from the Whimsical Messages and Borders set. The Birdie is from the Clear Design Live Simply. I also used Artprint Brown memories dye ink and Prismacolor pencils. The Scallop circles were made with Nestabilities. I finally figured out how to use them right. The paper is Strawberry, Leaf and Lagoon note cards with envelopes --I had scraps laying around from my last round of Hero Arts Cards. Speaking of... I made the Card of the Week this week. It went up earlier today.
On a Personal Note:
I've been really busy the last few days. Just so you know, my posting is going to be sporadic over the next few weeks. School starts in less than two weeks ( I know, right??) In addition to that we've got another family reunion to attend, two of my offspring will have birthdays so that means there will be two birthday celebrations. Two daughters to move back to college --one has to go all the way in Michigan so that means another road trip. It makes me tired just thinking about it. And on that note, good night! Have a blessed day tomorrow... or today whenever you get to read this. Choosing joy! Jacki.

Wonderful card. Congrats on Card of the Day. Good luck with all your family things.
This is lovely...are those a twist on the Hero Arts birds that are already out there? Very funky.
This is so darling Jacki! And I did catch your Card of the Day - so cute!!!
Jacki, do you have any idea why I get a pop-up dialogue box requesting a user name and password for "elzybells.typepad.com" when I visit your blog??? It looks like PW request box used on GW. All I do is click "Cancel" and it goes away, but it seems a little strange....
Thanks,
Mary
These are really beautiful cards! I'm making swaps over here. I only have a few left...and only a few days before I leave for Convention.
I can't believe how early school starts! Good luck having it go more smoothly this year (than last when you were also moving!). Love ya!
Too Cool! Last post I read was the July 18th one and I came back today(28th) after some vacation and didn't miss a thing. Good luck being Super Mom. Like I said before, when they're all back in school you can get a much deserved nap.
