Spring Fever Challenge Day 2

A simple and quick card for a busy day. I finished this for Denise's Spring Fever Challenge.
Today's rules are:

1) Create a 4x4 black and white card 2) NO PATTERN papers 3) black ink only 4) Use any stamps.
I used all Hero Arts clear stamps (...hush Dawn B). I also used black pigment ink and clear embossing powder. The gems are Heidi Swap.

on a personal note:
I wish it felt like spring here. It was 27 degrees this morning. Yes in Atlanta, 27 degrees. But look, I'm not complaining... OK, I was, but I'm done now. If I remember correctly, last year this time I was buried in the snow in Michigan and I know my friends and my daughter up there got a lot of snow over the weekend. I'm thankful that it will warm up to the low 60's today.
Spring break for my kids doesn't mean I get a break, do you know what I mean? Seriously, I'm going to enjoy spending the day with my college girl today.
Tomorrow, I finally get my room painted. (the painter lost my phone number, I misplaced his...blah blah). If it wasn't the ceiling, I would do it myself. I'm really ready to get it over with. I can get to most of my stamps, but none of my favorite paper! soon....
Have a blessed day and "think spring!"

this card is so pretty and elegant, we are having a cold spell in South Florida today, it is in the 50's, that is cold for us.

Jacki, I love your card. It is indeed elegant. I love flourishes and just bought my first last week. It was also my first set of clear stamps. Yes, it was the same Hero Arts set you used. LOL! Your other cards are beautiful, too. And thanks for sharing all the cards sent to you and your daughter. Eye candy for sure.

Brown English Muffin, I sent you an email, but I thought I would leave the info here as well.

To find the clear sets I used, go to Hero Arts http://heroarts.com/products/

Put the product number in the little search box next to the owl

CL106 for Fantastic Flourishes or CL156 for Treasure the Moments.

I personally buy online from Isabelle at the Stampbuzz
http://thestampbuzz.com/ She has the Fantastic Flourishes in stock along with a lot of other tulip stamps! Isabelle!!! tooooo much temptation on the tulip stamps....

Well, I'm so far behind in my blog reading that I can't comment on each post that I have missed. So, to sum it all up here; you have a beautiful family, I love your photos, your cards have been gorgeous, beautiful, exquisite, and wonderfully colored. My Easter was BLESSED and it sounds as if yours was also. TFS.
