Peek a Boo Rose

Here is a card I started weeks ago. It took weeks to make it. LOL. I actually colored this rose at the same time I colored these roses and these. I really like that smARTworks rose. I like to color flowers... but I digress. Anyway, sometime later (Thanksgiving week) I took the image and started to assemble this card . I didn't really have time to develop what was in my mind so I didn't finish. Sometime between then and now, I looked for and found the magnetic snaps in my collection of embellishments. All that I actually did today was create the closure. I used a Word window punch and the smaller ribbon slit punch to decorate the Word Window cutout.

Finished Gate fold Card size: 4.25" x 5.5 "
Stamps: Rose (smARTworks)
Printed Paper (Basic Grey)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip (SU)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black (Tsukenko)
Coloring Medium: Prismacolor Pencils
Other: Word Window punch, Ribbon Slot punch, Circle punches ( all SU), Magnetic Snaps (Basic Grey)

Like this rose card A LOT. That gatefold with the magnetic snaps is pretty neat, as is the peek a boo concept. My friend Vi will be aging next week and I always do rose cards (she has the most incredible rose garden) for her. You've given me some inspiration, Jacki. And I'm so glad I'm on the "list" for the CD. Can you feel me bouncing off the computer with joy?

What a neat idea to use magnetic snaps on the card, very creative and very pretty indeed.
