Daffodil Birthday

Please don't turn me into the Blogging police! I've been busy organizing my office area, setting up new a Facebook account, organizing a Flower Soft share, doing wedding programs and planning to do bridal party jewelry for one family member and save the date cards for another. I've even managed to make a few cards and watch a few movies since the last time I posted. As you can see, blogging took a back seat!

This card was made with the first image I colored with my new Copics markers. I placed an order with Martha of Stamp Cheap and I just had to take a minute to play with them. When I get a chance, I'm going to really learn how to use them. For this card, I just colored the same way I do with my pencils. I don't thin
k I used a good ink either, because it bled a little. I'm going to do more practicing and get this thing figured out.

The Daffodil is from Flourishes, the saying is GinaK, and the background paper is Basic Grey.

I thought I'd share some of the beautiful cards that have graced my mailbox recently. This first one is from Julie K. Julie sent me some images and included this beautiful tulip card. She does great work!

The second one is from Joyce. She does beautiful calligraphy. I should have taken a picture of the envelope. it was so beautiful the card inside wasn't even necessary, but oh my... when I opened the envelope, this amazing card was inside. I'm going to frame this for my office. The timing is perfect, because fixing up my office is what I've been doing this past
week. The card is also very unique. Wow....

The one with the purple tulips is from Susan T. Purple and tulips... Susan has such a kind and caring heart. I appreciate that she takes the time to send cards and write long notes in them. I want to be like her when I grow up. I'm working on it. :)

The last one is from Tara. We did a challenge a while back on Gingerwood and This was Tara's fabulous entry. She was so sweet to send it to me afterwards.

I've got a busy day tomorrow, so I'm going to turn in for the night. I hope you are having blessed week. We are on Spring Break this week...

While I love what you do, I must say seeing Joyce's calligraphy was beyond wonderful. So glad you shared what you got. Hope the organization keeps going in a postive manner. Could you rub some of that off on me please?
