I dreamt about this Hanna Stamps set one day last week. So I bought it and I've had a good time coloring it. This first card I've made from that set is for one of my favorite teenagers Melissa. We are counting down the days until the movie Twilight is released on November 21. We are planning to see it together. When I realized this the book stack contained 3 large books and with the one she is reading I could make it look like the 4 books in the Twilight series. Hopefully Melissa will see this in person, before she reads it on this blog... OK, I'm not taking bets on that because you know my track record and I know I'll lose! I'm going to try to mail it tomorrow...About the card:
I made a mask of the chair so that I could stamp the books right next to it.

I've written three posts in the last 24 hours. As I mentioned in my prayer post, I've been sleeping for the last few days. This medicine the doctor prescribed that is supposed to prevent migraines. So far I haven't had a migraine since I started taking it-- at least I don't think I have, I've been asleep! I take it at bed time because it is known to make me sleepy, but I'm still sleeping the day away. I'm planning to call the doctor or pharmacist tomorrow to find out if this is normal.
Yesterday after I woke up, my kiddos and I went to see Dawn's daughter play soccer. I didn't get any good pictures of her actually playing so I had them pose for me after the games. We stopped at Hobby Lobby afterwards and purchased ornaments and decorations for the mini Christmas Tree contest. By the way, YOU, the readers of this blog, will be the judges of the contest. Aren't you excited about that?
Well, that's all I have for tonight. I'm going to take my weekly medicine and my migraine medicine(aka the sleeping pill) and I'm going to lay down and watch a movie until I pass out. If I get a head start on it, maybe I won't sleep so long in the morning.
But don't think I'm complaining because it's all good! I'm trusting that the Lord is guiding me and it will all work out. As always, I'm choosing Joy! Be blessed! Jacki

Glad you're headaches are gone, but what a side effect! Be careful Jacki - driving, cutting up food, etc...

I have a friend who also has to deal with migraines... hope you can get those side effects figured out!

I have migraines 24/7 and I take medicine everyday and at bedtime for mine. what kind did they prescrip you that makes you fall alseep like that?? none of mine is like that. I may lay down for a couple of hours after i take my maxalt for my big migraine when it hits. my hubby usually lets me sleep for 2 hours as he knows it swill go away if i sleep after taking my maxalt. the ones i take at bedtime I take 4 of them and they are a generic med so i cannot remember the name at his time. But I know i go to bed straight away after taking them. I never migraines before until the tylenol quit working.
