Orchids joy

I love all flowers and as you know tulips is at the top of my list. I think if I had a second favorite, it would be orchids...

I'm really excited about this new stamp set I got from Gina K a week or two ago. I was in the process of looking for the perfect stamp or set of stamps to use for my color pencil class when I found this set from GinaK Designs drawn by Asela Hopkins called Botanical Dreams. Let me tell you how excited... I was looking for a pot or a potted plant, a leaf or two, and a flower, --all in one set if possible. I ordered it and I've been playing around with it a little. I think it's going to work.
I'll play with the leaves and other stamps in this set in a few days. First I have to go and make my first video... but more about that later!

On a Personal Note

Can you believe that it's already July!!! I'm updating my prayer list so if you have a request to be added send me a quick email and I'll add it to the list.

I believe God hears and answers our prayers. A couple of requests on last month's list didn't turn out like we would have liked, but I know God is in control and knows what's best. In the midst of it all, situations like those remind us that our time here on earth is but a "midst that appears for a while and then vanishes"( James 4:14). We need to be careful what we do in our short time here on earth. What am I seeking to accomplish in the next few days, weeks or months? What motivates me to do what I do??

As you can see, I've had a lot on my mind lately. Maybe that's what's confusing my creativity. I think I'm going to start writing in a journal again. It helps me to just vomit out the words without thinking too much about how I'm writing. I can fix it later if I decide to present it to the world. When I get things sorted out, I may do a post about it, because I really want to know what some of you think about some of the topics and my unanswered questions. So get ready to comment (or email), ok?
