Purple Tulips

No sunshine today, but I took the picture anyway.

I'm convinced that all tulips should be purple!
I would take any tulip, but the purple just does something to me. ;). These tulips ( another favorite) are a part of a series of flower stamps Hero Arts did a while ago and have long since retired. I stamped the image of three tulips twice and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I layered vellum over the flowers and stamped the saying from a set called Anytime Messages . The background was done with a small accent stamps from my favorite clear set, Heartfelt Messages.
I stamped the image with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Speaking of tulips, it's funny, because I still haven't seen any tulips yet! Right around me all the houses are new so the lawns are new. I guess nobody's had a chance to plant the bulbs yet. They may be blooming somewhere. I just might have to go out on a tulip hunt.

I going now to the post office and then to Best Buy to get my daughters computer, which is all fixed and a warranty item so they better not try to charge me anything!
