There's a hole in my ceiling, dear Liza, dear Liza...

Ok, by now you know I'm crazy so you won't be surprised when I tell you that I had that song stuck in my head all day.

I'm relieved because at least we have the leak fixed. It seems that during the construction process sometimes the finishers ( dry wall/ base boards) shoot nails into the PVC pipes. It doesn't become a problem for months until the nail rusts. That's when the leaking starts....

After it dries out for a few days, I have to move most of the stuff on that wall so that the dry wall people can get in and fix the hole. And then there will be a paint crew a couple of days after that. My room will be in disarray for several days, so before all that took place, I decided today would be a play day. I played with my new embossing folders and some new stamps. I embossed a whole bunch of card fronts. I'm going to share a few of them. Here are two of the cards I completed today.

These are both great cards Jacki! I'm so jealous because I don't have either of those folders yet, but they're on my wish list. As soon as my Michael's gets them in, they'll be in my hot little hands. :)

Have fun with them and show us all you make so those of us "have nots" can live vicariously.

Hi Jacki,

Hoping the mending and cleaning of the ceiling is done before you know it.

Your 2 cards are really lovely, as are those fab. new folders. I especially like your green card - so simple but really elegant.

Beautiful cards. I, too, like the green one for it's elegance. I want the dots folder. Love to see how folks are using these.

Yay for you!!! I'm glad your ceiling is being fixed. Nothing worse than having your card castle under water :-).

The cards...as usual, are BEAUTIFUL!!!

Ooh Jacki, I'm happy someone else besides my family and I knows that great Mr. B. song...

I'm happy to see not even a leak in your "bucket" can start any grass growing under those new folders. I gotta have the dots and I'm glad I don't have to have it NOW! LOL! I love your green card--great colors and so regal. You deserve a medal for even feeling creative with your special room being defiled. Soon all will be wonderful again. Great job, sweetie!
