Stained Glass Nativity and more..

Here are several cards made with what I call the Black on Black method.
I use black pigment ink on black card stock and emboss with clear or black embossing powder.
Then I use Prismacolor pencils to color the images.
I used a clear dimensional adhesive on this card, on certain parts.

Stained Glass Nativity and Shepherds stamps by Biblical Impressions.

I'm sending this one to my friend who was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. I know God is sending angels to protect her and carry her through this ordeal.
This stamp is by Stamping Sensations. I used to have a print like this hanging in our house when I was a little girl and I bought one a few years ago for my kids, too. I liked this painting, because not only does it suggest that God will send angels to protect us, but he also sends us a brother or sister to cling to in tough times. Sometimes it's not our biological family, but brothers and sisters He choses to send our way. Next time, when the waters are raging in your life, remember that!
Psalm 91:11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
(New International Version)

As soon as the email arrives telling me that I have a Card Castle update, I click and read. The last card today, God's protecting angels, brought tears to my eyes and comfort to my soul. Beautiful and meaningful.
Thank you, my blogging "friend".
P.S. I will try the black on black techinque soon with my various stained glass stamps.
