Polymer Clay Class

Is this a new chapter in my life?? What would I call it.... Polymer Clay, a new frontier. Hmm maybe a better title would be I'll be broke forever....
I should have known! Why didn't somebody stop me??? No new crafts!! No new crafts!! Bad craft obsessed lady!

Here is my flower made from my Skinner blend.
Here is my Daughter's Poinsettia and Skinner blend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the polymer clay class. I've been avoiding trying it on my own, and I'm glad I took the class because Sandy was a great teacher. I didn't even wait for my creation to cook before going out into the store to get more stuff!!! It could have been much worse, but even with the class fee for my daughter, I spent only a little over 50 (ish). Another perk of working at Michaels is that I got the class for free. I bought the inexpensive Pasta Machine (50% off coupon), a few essential tools and a small selection of colors. I already a big pack of white from a few years ago. You see, I had this grand idea that I may actually do this year....well, it'll be in my to do list anyway.....

Ooh, very nice. Did you really think it was necessary to tell us that yours was the purple one? (wink, wink) That's one of those crafts that I've been mildly interested in (and I must admit that I have a few bricks in my stash, planning to use them in conjunction with my stamps). Can't wait to see what else you create!

Your flowers are stunning! I have all the stuff for polymer clay, but haven't really pulled it all out to use it. After seeing these I might have to. You just amaze me with your creative talent.

What pretty flowers. Hmmm, you're pretty darned talented :-). I've only known one other person who created with polymer clay. She created some really cool looking stuff.

Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing what else you create.

The flowers are gorgeous!! I can identify with your wish to avoid starting another craft! I fought the urge to start scrapbooking and cardmaking for several years because I knew I'd become obscessed. I was right!! :) The ladies on HGTV make beautiful items using polymer clay but I'm still resisting!!! Please show us any new items you make.

I have some polymer clay and the pasta maker, but needed you to motivate me. This may be just what it took. Beautiful work.

Very nice flower petals! You Go Jacki! I am a clay artist wannabe. I was inpired by watching the clay artists on Carol Duvall. Over the last several months, I have collected clay tools and clay - all bought with coupons and on sale. :^) I had visions of putting clay pieces on my cards...ONE DAY, I'm going to get it out and play. Perhaps, I'll get to a point where I have pretty petals like to you!
