Anybody Wanna Pray With Me?

"Anybody wanna pray with me?" is one of my favorite songs, by one of my favorite singers, CeCe Winans. I thought I would use the title of her song as the title of this new endeavor.

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I am aware of several card makers and personal friends of mine going thru things and I think it would be helpful to them to show them our visible support by praying and letting them know we are praying. I am burdened to start a prayer ministry thru this blog. I'm still working out the details, but here is what I do know. . .

• We are blessed when we bring petitions to God our Father on the behalf of others.


• I would love it if you would allow me include prayer request so that others would be able to pray for you.


• I would be honored to pray for you.
  

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

If you want to participate:

• Send an email ( thecardcastle@yahoo.com) to me with specific requests. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PRAYER REQUEST IN THE COMMENT SECTION.

• When God shows you His answer, don't forget to send an email (thecardcastle@yahoo.com) to me and I will add those details to encourage us .

• If possible, limit your request to specific need or burden you have, or needs of someone in your family.

• We will make sure to protect privacy, whenever possible.

• Use the comment section to encourage those on the list that you are praying for them.

I won't make this sticky and leave it at the top, but I'm going to include a link at the top of the column on the left that will take you back to this post each month.

I will add or change any of these details if the need arises.

I am going to start this off with my first request. For now, this will be the format I'm going to use. The name/screen name of the person requesting will be in large letters, followed by the request and details when necessary. Go to September Requests

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

Q: I need prayer, but I'm not comfortable putting my business out in the street.

A: Just email me, if you feel comfortable telling me about it, we can find a way to speak of the situation on the prayer list without identifying you.
