Happy Mother's Day... finally

I can't believe I finally got these cards in the mail. I made them for my offsprings' Godmother's in 2004. I don't remember the reason for not sending them out that year, but it was probably timing. No matter how much I think about doing it ahead, I have a hard time getting into the cardmaking groove for the season until the season is upon us. For instance, once May rolls around, it's easier for me to make Mother's Day cards. I enjoy making my Christmas cards while listening to Christmas music and watching the tree lights flicker--too late to mail them for that year. OK, you get the picture, I probably made them at the last minute. (smile)
In 2005 they didn't get mailed because I had put them in a safe place. I remember locating them early in 2006, and put them in a new place so that I could mail them later that year, but then wouldn't you know it, I couldn't find them when I needed them. So FINALLY, the card were mailed this year!
The stamp is my all time favorite stamp to color from a now retired Stampin' Up set. I don't know who made the Happy Mother's Day.

Beautiful cards and I'm so glad I'm not alone when I put something in a 'safe place so I can find it later'. Misery loves company!

These cards are so nice. Great job. I hae the same problem as you. It's hard to get in the mood ahead of time. I have several Mother's Day waiting to be finished. Maybe I can mail them late!! NOT.
