Keep Praying....

Things are looking better today. The bleeding had significantly slowed down. I just wanted to take a minute to update you.

God is sooo good and He is in control. I feel very confident that no matter how this turns out, God knows what is best. I really do have a peace about that. Thanks for your prayers. I'm feeling the results of them.

I love this chapter of Philippians and I am going to quote those same verses from a couple weeks ago. Today, I am thanking him for His peace.

Philippians 4
4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Keep your deep abiding trust in Him. His grace is sufficient.

Thanks for the update - I'm praying for you every day! And that's one of my favorite passages, too. I love to read it from The Message every now and then:

Celebrate God all day, every day. I mean revel in Him! Make it as clear as you can to all you meet that you're on their side, working with them and not against them. Help them see that the Master is about to arrive. He could show up any minute!

Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
