It doesn't take much...

to get me excited, and I have two exciting things to tell you about today. The first one is something I found at the store last night and the other is a post card in today's mail.

I have a love/hate relationship with my grocery store/ supercenter because of the stamping and scrapping isle near the front door. I always go though it before I buy my food. (I know, I'm a bad bad girl). Most of the time I just look and drool, but last night I found this.

As you can read, it's chipboard covered with DCWV textured paper/cardstock.

I couldn't decide on one pack so I bought all three. This is the neutrals. I probably give away most of the brights pack. I don't use bright primary colors too often but I had to have this pack because it was the only one with a purple in it.
New Chipboard-- You know what that means? It's time to get out the Big Shot! Come of think it, I haven't embossed anything lately. I think I'm going to have to do something about that.

My second exciting thing is the post card I received in the mail from The Rubber Stamper. This is something they've started to doing recently. Instead of finding out when the magazine arrives, they send a post card in advance to make you wonder. I have no idea what they decided to use, but we will all find out soon enough, I guess....

Hey, I got the same postcard! The way I read it was "we're *considering* your recent submission" meaning perhaps it would still be rejected. Hope not!! Hey, maybe you can have the cover in May/June and I'll have it in July/Aug!!! :)

yippee! Although, I doubt I've done anything that would warrant a cover. But, maybe yours??

I looked at the wording and I figured that they have to say the considering part because sometimes at the last minute things get pulled. I got a post card like that a couple months ago before my giraffe card was published.
