Update on Grandma

My grandmother is a remarkable woman --still very sharp and on top of things.  More so than most of us, but definitely not what you'd expect from a 98 year old woman. I had to crack up when she had to straighten out the nurse about her medicine schedule.  She wanted to keep on the schedule she already had at home, and I guess they were trying to change it... Guess what? It's changed back now. : )

She appreciates your prayers.  She shared with me that she prayed that they wouldn't operate on her and she was happy to hear that they were choosing not to.  They fitted her for a back brace so she has to wear it when she gets up.

How you can pray for her now~  Twice when she got up, she  became nauseated and her blood pressure dropped.  We've been told that this is normal for someone who had been in the bed for a while.  Still, it's unsettling to her and the family.  Please pray for her strength and adjustment to the brace.

Again, thanks soooo much for your prayers.

I went to NC on Friday spent the night at the hospital with her.  Notice I didn't say sleep...  I returned home on Sunday.  It was a long rainy drive back.  I did have a bright spot on the trip.  I made a new friend in the Starbucks in Augusta GA. Her name is Lindsay.  (Everybody say hi and wave to Lindsay)  She just accepted my friendship on Facebook and this blog is fed into my FB account so I wanted to give her a shout out...

Anyway, manly week restarts sometime tomorrow or Thursday. I'll add the pictures in the relevant post of the examples I've already received via email.

Be blessed!
