One more arrangement... and other randomness

This is the other arrangement I mentioned the other day.... I made this several years and two moves ago, so it needed a little makeover. The rocks covering the Styrofoam have been replaced with Spanish moss. I actually replaced the square flat Styrofoam with a sphere so that the flowers in the center would have more height.

Back to cleaning and organizing. Hey, and here's a free tip for you. Totally free advice. You don't even have to thank me, although I know you will...
If someone who lives with you gets a bright idea to have the carpet re-stretched the week before Christmas, run ... screaming. Act like a crazy person and tell them NO!!! We are moving and removing and returning stuff. I know when it's all done, we are going to be happier with the house. It's just a lot of work at an already busy time.
My trip which was bringing me a rest and stress all at the same time was canceled due to some wonky snow storm in the north east. I was headed right into it. I'm so bummed that I can't go. I wish I was in Virginia right now, but I'm going to reschedule my trip.
The Hero Arts Blog Hop was fun yesterday, but it was crazy at first with the comments. I'm not used to getting so many comments on my blog so I was surprised at the speed in which they were coming in. I have the blog set so that I get emails when I get comments. My phone was beeping and buzzing (email notification) sooo much at first I had to turn off the comment moderation and then the sounds on the phone. Hey, that isn't a complaint. I was sooo blessed by all the comments and compliments. I still haven't made it all the way thru the blog hop, so let me get to hoppin! Did you do it? Was it fun or what??

I loved yesterday's blog hop. It was the first hop I've done and now I can't wait for the next one! I'm feeling inspired by everyone's creations, now I need to get my hands on some of the new stamps...especially the sweet little girls.

Thanks for saying you use the colorless blender pencils, I've been wondering if they work...now I need to try them.

Have a beautiful weekend!

Hi Jacki! Guess where I'm going in a few weeks??? Atlanta! Doug is working the Chick-Fil-E Bowl game and I decided to go with him. I am flying in on the 30th, the game is on the 31st, and then we'll drive to Birmingham, AL for the Papa Murphy's.com Bowl. I'm not sure where we're staying, but when I find out I'll let you know. I'd love to meet up with you while I'm there if it's at all possible!!!

Hugs,
Amy

I started the Hero Blog Hop and was somewhat overwhelmed by it. I guess I'll go back and finish it!

Krissy, I did a video for Hero Arts showing blending with the colorless blender pencil.
you can see it on You Tube-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6s4L9LKCz00

AMY, I sent you a couple of emails, I hope you got them. I"M SOOOO EXCITED!! We ARE going to get together one way or the other, OK?

Mary, there are over 30 blogs participating, it is overwhelming. I've gotten thru more than half, but I'm not finished yet....

i LOVE your blog. Your remarks about the comments coming in was very funny. That flower arrangement is gorgeous. Sorry you had to postpone your trip but at least when you do get to go you will be able to think to yourself 'if i went when i was supposed to go i wouldn't be here now enjoying it'. So, although you don't get to go now you will be able to enjoy it later when you would have to be working! Have a very merry christmas.
