The Spirit of Philadelphia

First of all, let me give you the link to my mom's website that I was working on when I was in Delaware. She's making jewelry for charity in her retirement. L'Deas Originals. I'm going to add this link to my links page.

I spent some time alone in downtown Philadelphia last week with my husband. He took me on a lunch cruise on the Spirit of Philadelphia. We also spent
time walking thru downtown Philly like tourists. It was really nice to walk instead of taking a taxi, or riding public transportation. It felt good to revisit the streets where we spent time in the beginning of our relationship.
I took a ton of pictures!

The tall building in the center of this first picture is where we stayed~ The Omni Hotel at Independence Park.

The rest of the pictures in this post were taken on the boat or from the boat.

He also took me to a restaurant called Nineteen on the 19th floor of the Bellevue at Broad and Walnut on Thursday night. We ate on a balcony and took pictures at sunset. The view was wonderful and the food was delicious. We are looking forward to the opportunity to return in the future.

Awww, I'm so glad ya'll had some alone time together. Philly is a lot prettier in pictures. Last time I was "there", I was on an Amtrack train...so it was kind of a blur :-). Thank you for sharing your special day.
