Wisdom

I always say a wise woman learns not only from her mistakes, but from mistakes of others. Here's one I'm giving you for free: It's EASIER to just WASH the hamper full of clothes your son brings to the hamper as a way of cleaning his room, than to put them to your NOSE to see if they are actually dirty. Trust me.

Depending on how old they are, I would take them and the basket of dirty clothes, walk them to the laundry room and instruct them on how to wash them. My almost 40 year old brother can't function because mom and dad never did any instruction. My kids learned to do all the stuff to survive by junior high. I'm not saying they actually do it but they know how. But at 30+, they are on their own, so doesn't bother me a bit. Now to figure out why husband slug can't-or won't.

Ah, Jacki... Glad you're still hanging in there. Liked the lifesaver and ME cards, so you can still create beautifully. Enjoy your trip.

Jacki,
That is some wise advice Sister! I once heard the comedian Sinbad say, college students have two piles of clothes - dirty and funky. They will wear dirty again. :o)

I have another piece of wisdom when doing laundry especially for boys. I raised four! Never search the pockets of their jeans. I quit after finding worms and other little creatures. If they didn't take things out of the pockets, they all were washed.
