Red Tulips

It's the time of year when I start to look out for my favorite flower. My hubby always kicks off the season for me by buying tulips for Valentine's Day. This year he and they boys decided that I needed 3 pots, so I got one each in pink purple and red. I thought I'd show them to you along with one of my new favorite tulip stamps. Side note: I over-use favorite don't I? I guess my favorite is really whatever I like at the moment.
This stamp is one that has probably been retired for a long time, but I found it on Ebay just while searching for Hero stamps. There is a rose stamp that I've been trying to get for a while. Every once in a while when I have nothing to do -- actually I have always have something to do so I guess I should say when the mood hits-- anyway, I go on Ebay and search for Hero stamps. Evidently it's a sought after stamp and it's very beautiful. I'm not willing to bid like a crazy woman and someone always outbids me. One of these days, I'm going to find it.... and score. :)

Stamps: Tulips (Hero Arts-retired)
Paper: Scarlet Letter (Basic Grey)
Finished size (5 1/2 x 4 1/4)

I'll leave you with the only pictures I was able to take of my tulips. I'm working on a couple of projects today... one of them involves a tutorial and coloring all in one.
Be blessed! Choosing Joy! Jacki.

Another wonderful card! Your talented coloring makes me think I would touch a real tulip....
The background paper (dots) has some white images on it; nice look, I think.
