Garden Roses Thank You

I did it! I made a card today!

This card took on a mind of it's own... and I'm really glad it did!
It was not the card I intended to make at all! Remember the card I made for the Web Artist Week on the Hero Club Blog? My intention was to copy that one because I don't have it anymore. I thought it would be perfect for a friend of mine.

The first deviation from the plan was the color. I wanted to make yellow roses, but I was watching TV or something and got distracted. I did use yellow as my "base coat" but before I knew it, I was coloring red roses. The next thing that happened, after it was all colored nicely, I took it to my work space and somehow, got an ink smudge on it. That's why I cut it out.
Overall, I love this design. And now, to write a note in it and get it to the post office....
