ABC Challenge -- G is for...

I know you thought I forgot about this right?? Nooo not me! I've tried the glitter and it just ain't working! You know.... I decided yesterday that, it's my party so I can change the rules when I need to right? I started this challenge to encourage myself to use some of my unused stuff. When glitter was suggested for G, I knew that this Art Institute Glitter-- unopened for at least 5 years would be perfect. Boy was I wrong. I meant it to be a challenges but not torture. I've been a little busy too really learn this technique and get the hang of it. I've tried and failed three times now. So in the spirit of moving on....

My new G challenge is GinaK stamps. I actually purchased a set last year... December maybe, that I was dying to have and have yet to make a card with. I still haven't made a card, but a bookmark. My girls have been reading up a storm this summer. I particularly excited about the ones who proclaim that they don't like to read so until now, they rarely read for pleasure. I'll admit, that I've not been a good example. I used to be an avid reader. I escaped thru books. My sister would hate to come in a room and see me with a book, because she knew that she could talk until she was blue in the face and I wouldn't hear her. I survived public transportation in the City of Brotherly Love for years with a good book. Have you ever had to wait for a bus or subway that is never on schedule? Now that I've told you how well I can tune out the world when I'm reading, you may be able to figure out why my reading passion evaporated when I became a mom.

To encourage the kiddos, I'm going to give each of them a bookmark, made by me! This idea was prompted by one daughter's makeshift bookmark... I'm not mentioning names. She was using her Dean's List certificate (roughly 4" x 5") as a book mark. I took it from her so that we can preserve it and gave her one of my calling cards as a temporary book mark. Today she received this one. I'm glad I have few more in the works, because I'm not totally satisfied with this one-- actually I think it's pretty lame. If I had more time I would go back and do it differently. Then why am I showing it to you? Nobody's perfect? I have no idea. I do need to check at least one off my list today and get to on to cleaning the house. I have a big Hero Arts project to work on tomorrow. --at least that's what my schedule says...

PS. if you are playing along and joining my challenges, please use whatever G item you need to. You use what you have and don't use.
I'll have another post later with my new Paper Trey stamps. I thinkI'm going to participate in their blog hop tonight.
EDITED to add:
Please help me to come up with ideas for my ABC Challenge. I would like to do H but right now I can't think of anything...
H is for... I is for... J is for... K is for... L is for... M is for... and so on. What do you have that you want to challenge yourself to use?

H could be a Hero Art stamp, unused? I could be ranger icicles? J could be jewels, or finger jewels (rub-ons)? K could be a kit you ordered and had not used? M could be Marvies, like an embossing or art marker or ink pad color?
I like your book mark. I made some for myself using Joseph's Coat technique and added a bunch of eyelash yarns, etc., for the tassel.
