Encouraging Roses

I stamped the message (Hero Arts) on vellum. I Xyron'd the whole piece of vellum because it wrinkled a little when I embossed. It still looks wrinkly, but more in the photo than it does in real life. The rose from smARTworks was colored with Prismacolors. This card is for the lady on my prayer list who is being tested for Inflammatory Breast Cancer. I don't know her personally, but her sister is a fellow blogger.

This rose was also colored with Prismacolor pencils. I'm going to do something different one day soon just to prove that I can be unpredictable. The saying, by Stampabilities, was inked up with Vineyard Berry, my favorite burgundy ink, and the only ink I have from CTMH.

I'm regrouping today. I have bills to pay and I have to finish my artwork for that bulletin board. We accomplished a lot this weekend, but I still feel like there is so much to do. I was on a high last week for a bout a minute, because everything seemed to be falling in place, finally. And then, my son came home on Thursday with news from school. I just don't feel like the problem is solved in the best way for him, so I'm praying for direction---again. I don't know if I'm being impatient or not.
I'm trusting God for direction, even if His directive is to "wait".
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Ps 37:23

I finished my write up about the pencils, but I didn't have time to take the pictures of my samples. Hopefully I'll be able to with the afternoon light in my room.

Time to get off the computer and back to the bills!

Jacki, really like your "Our Hope is in the Lord" card. Have that stamp and that would be a great layout for our church card ministry...might have to borrow your design for that:)

Hi Jackie! Brillant idea to Zyron the vellum! WAY better than those tiny pieces of vellum tape I usually use....
