Yellow Tulip

This tulip stamp is by Inky Antics.
Here is a card I meant to mail to someone before we moved, 4 months ago? I misplaced it( yeah, that's the ticket...) You know my motto is "Better late than never". So now I'll write her a note and get it in the mail....
I'm bored with my card making. All my cards are starting to look alike again. I love to color and my favorite way to make a card is to include a colored image. BUT, it is boring to me right now. Maybe, I'm on card making overload. I've made so many cards in the last week. I don't know if I need to do something different or take a break from it all together.
I haven't beaded in a while. I may pull that stuff out tomorrow. Maybe I'm just tired. I think I'll go to bed and figure it out tomorrow. (Thought in my best Scarlet O'Hara voice)

I was asked to speak to a mom's group on Tuesday night. (I'll let you know the name of it tomorrow when I find the paper where I wrote down all the details) They want me to talk about creative gifting. I'm not much of a speaker, but I can show them a lot of stuff and give them ideas. I've made a lot of teacher or grandma gifts in my day. They don't have a budget for supplies so they won't really be "doing" a craft, but I may bring enough paper and a few color pencils to make gift cards and introduce them to stamping. (wink)

School's out here, so do you know what that means?? I'll tell you what it means.
  1. I have to act responsibly all day.
  2. I won't be able to spend the day making cards and surfing the web, because there will be witnesses.
  3. I have to share the computer.

LOL!! Be blessed.

Great idea to spend some time on a different creative endeavor. If beading doesn't work, try grabbing your camera and spending an hour or two outside, trying to capture the glory of God's creation! I've also found that card sketches have really been helping break me out of my rut. SCS posts one each Wednesday, and it's also nice to see how others interpret the challenge (without having to click through twenty blogs). And you also may find fresh inspiration via newbie stamper enthusiasm :) Good luck!!
