September is Birthday month! I know sooooooo many people with September birthdays. I am really trying to get them in the mail this month. I'm not going to tell you who this if for, just in case you are reading it. There is more birthday cards to come. I'm on a roll.

In other news: I'm almost a Michaels employee! Almost, because the only thing left to do is the background check. I hope they don't find anything.... just kidding. I'm really excited about this store. The employees seem to really enjoy working there. It's got a fairly extensive card making dept. Well, Michaels ( the corporation) expanded that section, but I haven't been going there a lot so I wasn't aware of all that they have. I took a look around today. They do have some new things-- the BIGkick and Xyron Design runner. I want to play with the Xyron thing, although I cannot add any more new expensive tools to my world any time soon.

I'm going to be doing demos, teaching classes, and working the floor. I wonder how I'm going to fit it into my schedule. The real problem is, I'll be in the store all the time seeing things I need. I hope I don't get to the point where I'm just signing over my paycheck each week.

I may be gone this weekend, or not.... My son came home early from school today with a low grade fever. Still, if you are praying, my husband could use our prayers too, especially if I don't go (wink). --As if I really add that much to it. He's the real singer, I'm just the helper.

Have a blessed weekend and Choose JOY!!!

OK, this stamp set was in my sell pile this weekend. It didn't sell, and now I'm thinking that I "need" it. Shame on you! ;)

Seriously, though, it really is gorgeous!

Jacki, what a beautiful card. Love the coloring on the rose. How exciting about working at Michael's! I have been thinking a lot about you lately; we got the official word yesterday: we are relocating to Utah. Never lived out of Oregon, so this is going to be a big adventure. Back to packing, packing, packing...and another donation trip to Goodwill.
