It's Saturday...

and basically I had a miscarriage yesterday. Things got much worse after I posted. I was in sooo much pain, physically. It was somewhere between the worse menstual cramps I have ever had and labor, although it was closer to labor. The nurse told me I could take Tylenol for the pain. I think having someone knock me over the head with a baseball bat would have helped more. Today I am cramping on and off but the intensity is subsiding, and it's not constant.

I know you've been praying so I wanted to let you know what was going on. I'm ok and I will be ok. The children are upset, but they are trying to be brave for my sake. Keep us all in your prayers....

I'll get back to you in a few days with my final post for this blog since it was created to track my baby's developement. I will always be grateful for the support, prayers and encouragement I received from each of you.

Oh, dear. I am so very sorry, Jacki. The difficult truth is that hearts which love the most, must then also hurt the most.

May time allow your heart to heal.
With my prayers,

Dear Jacki,

I first noticed your cards and then your blog because of the name, "a joyful heart." That's my kind of person, my kind of spirit, thought I. When I came upon your baby blog just days ago, I felt my heart linked to the one I only know as "joyful."

What a sad day to lose this little one. My heart sorrows for you even as my spirit knows that you still lift your eyes unto the Heavens and say, tears and all, Blessed be the name of Lord.

When I sit in worship this morning I will offer a very special prayer for you and all your family, and I will give thanks, too, for the inspiration that you offer all of us through your ongoing walk of faith, hope, and courage.

May the peace of the Lord which surpasses ALL mortal understanding be with you this day and every day. ~ pk

Oh Jacki...my heart aches for you and your family.

Shelly is right. I have two little boys waiting for us in heaven and God has blessed us over and over as a result of the miscarriages. The lives that have been touched BECAUSE of the loss of our babies was worth the heartbreak. I hope you will get the opportunity to understand why you had to undergo this trial, but even if you never find out, while on this earth, you know His almighty wisdom is far greater than our finite minds and his GRACE will carry you through this. I know it.
Ps 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right and true;
He is faithful in all He does.

Jacki,
I just got home from a week away from the computer! I will call you tomorrow. I'm so saddened by your news & the loss of the baby. Hope you're taking it day by day and even if you don't always feel at peace with the whole thing, even if you feel angry and upset, that's OK, too. I'm sure you'll go through whole bunches of emotions. I'm praying that God will help you have exactly what you need to get through this and I'm confident that he will. Hugs to you, my friend.
