Easter Blessings

True to form, I got a bright idea just a few days ago for Easter cards to send home to family. Needless to say, I already had cards I could've sent. They probably won't get there on time, but I think my family will get a kick out of them when they do arrive.

This card features a picture of my four sisters and me with our neighbors.
Stamp: saying is SU
Ink: Bliss Blue/SU
Paper: Basic Grey/Lilly Kate
Other: Notched Corner Punch, Circle punches

This card features a picture of just three of us a few years later than the first picture.
Stamp: Biblical Impressions
Ink: Edited to correct: Tim Holtz Distress ink/Tattered Rose
Paper: Basic Grey/Lily Kate
Other: Notched corner punch, Corkscrew Paper Edgers ( I'm still trying to use some of my neglected tools and supplies)

Can you tell which little girl is me in each of the photos?

Easter Memories: Mom always made our Easter outfits. We spent the entire day before getting our hair done. Pictures before or sometimes after attending church. After church there was always a big family Easter dinner. Sometimes we had dinner at our house, sometimes we went to other family members' houses. There was the big basket of candy provided by our "Easter Bunny" Delores and family. Coconut Creme and Butter Creme eggs. I remember feeling sick at the end of the day, especially if we traveled across town. I was the one with motion sickness and the half hour car ride was just enough to make me sick. It didn't help that I'd probably had just a little too much candy. Those were the days.

Well, that looks the most like you on the left in the bottom-most picture, but I can't for sure place you in the top one, with the hats. Are you on the farthest left, again? Are you the oldest sister? Or the middle one? Help me out here!

What lovely memories these will evoke for your sisters. They will have something to treasure always. I think using old family photos on cards is such a wonderful idea. The cards are precious, but I also really enjoyed reading about your memories of Easters past.

Oh, these are just too precious and are sure to be treasured forever.

No clue which one you are though, you have to let us know!

Happy Easter!
